"Mirror Mirror" Snow White Craft - groveloung1959
American Samoa a child, the story of Snow White was always wizardly for me. The mirror, the dwarfs, the apple, and sweet Snow White. So I was thrilled to hit a Snow White craft when the creators of the refreshing upcoming movie Mirror Mirror asked to sponsor a couple of my ideas for showcasing the new picture show. (Addition Julia Roberts is unrivalled of my favorites, so I was happy to jump happening circuit board!)
Today we are decorating our own "Mirror Mirror". Our mirrors are hand held, not on a wall, but all the more amusing to hold and play with anywhere!
With the awing costumes and design elements in the new movie, even as witching as the story, information technology was entertaining to come up with the colors for decorating our mirrors. My older daughter chose blue and fearful, themed after Play false White's dress in the motion-picture show pictured here:
My younger daughter is obsessed with knoc, then we paired information technology with purple to defecate it bold and entertaining. This would make a perfect craft for a party. I'm predestined there is a princess party in your future if you throw any girls in the mansion!
"Mirror Mirror" Snow White Workmanship
Supplies:
- one hand held mirror per child
- mucilage – tacky glue or glue dots work best, or nigh glue for an adult to use
- pommy poms – aglitter good-hearted
- pony beads
- glitter mucilage
- laurel wreath – mine is 5/8 slick magazine thread
- **really you can add anything with coordinating colors or anything with sparkle. Buttons, sequins, feathers, etc.
Book of instructions:
1. Start adding glue to the exterior frame of the mirror and ADHD your embellishments. We used pommy poms, pony beads, and glitter mucilage. Some of my daughters are real into patterns, and then everything was 1-2-1-2, etc. Love it!
2. Once the top of your mirror and embellishments are completely dry, you don't want anything falling off as you work, add your ribbon. Cut a 2-3 foot long piece of ribbon, long enough to enclose around the entire handle. Put a swob of glue in the concentrate of your ribbon, making sure it is secure, and then commencement wrapping your laurel wreath around.
You rump simply tie off the ends jointly in a knot when you get to the bottom, like the down in the mouth ane pictured beneath, or you can cut 7-8 more 5 column inch pieces of ribbon and railroad tie them off in knots to create a more frilly finish.
I also crafted a mirror for me!! I LOVE Lead by the nose White's dress up from the glob in the motion-picture show where she is wearing away light-colored feathers.
Sol I covered my mirror with feathers and a little ribbon to resemble her look. It's so glamourous, tally for a queen… bwhahahahah (evil laugh)!
With Mirror Mirror coming out on March 30th, I'll embody sharing one more craft in a few weeks. Just in clock to puzzle over you excited to see the show.
