   I just upgraded my Windows to xi. Previously I was logging into Air Force Portal successfully merely at present it reads certificates not found. Verified my certificates are at that place and everything checks up but still unable to employ my DoD Cac card to log into whatever Air Strength system.

   Okay, so I wanted to set up my calculator to log in via smart carte as a secondary way to enter. I take a CAC and a CAC reader and I got them working. Here'southward the trouble. I fix the login via smart card enabled simply it never setup a user or even registered my CAC as a login.... and so now I am stuck locked out of my computer and every time I put in my pass code information technology says "you must use a smart card to sign in". How tin can I bypass this or reset my computer? This kinda erks me I jumped a coupe steps and jacked this up.

   Hello, I've read several posts with the Verbal aforementioned question, just they're not resolved, so I'thousand starting my ain. I'm in the military and utilise a CAC CARD reader to admission websites. After a contempo windows update, my computer no longer detects my CAC Carte du jour. The
   card reader is fine, but the card itself isn't detecting. I Echo, the card reader is fine. (Too, its Not an SD card. Its a CAC carte. On an other mail here, a prepare was suggested for an SD card. Its not an SD card).

   The card reader is detected, I've updated and reinstalled the commuter multiple times. I've tried rolling information technology back. The menu reader shows on the computer under Device Manager, information technology shows on other computers too, and the CAC Carte du jour works on other computers. It is
   not a problem with the card reader, or the card, information technology is a problem with some settings in this computer. Internet explorer, google chrome, and firefox all neglect to meet the CAC Card on this computer. Can you delight help fix how my reckoner will detect the card
   itself?

   The carte du jour reader i'k using is chosen "Stanley Global Technologies" and in Device Manager it shows as Smart Card Reader- "Alcor Micro USB Smart Card Reader".
